We collect personal information that you provide to us when registering on the LIFE RACER Platforms, purchasing and using the LIFE RACER products or otherwise contacting us. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions, the choices you make and the products and features you use, and can include the following:

 

Name and Contact Data. We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone number, DOB, payment information, social media login data and other similar contact data.

 

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

 

When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.
If this is the first time you are buying at our LIFE RACER online store, you will have to create an account. Your delivery-address and telephone number will be needed for the purpose of communication at the delivery of goods. If you don’t fell like placing an online order, you can also place your order via email [email protected]

 

You don’t have to give us all of this personal information but if you don’t, you may not be able to buy items online, and you are unlikely to receive our optimal overall customer experience. But that is your choice – and we respect that.

 

LIFE RACER automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the the LIFE RACER Platforms. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use the LIFE RACER Platforms and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of the LIFE RACER, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

We also use Purchase history data, to protect our service and uphold our Terms of Service as part of our contract commitment to you, as part of this we may make use of computer-system decisions to protect our Service. Your rights in relation to this are detailed below.

PERSONALISING YOUR LIFE RACER EXPERIENCE
We use the data we collect to help us provide you with the best service, the best shopping experience and to show you the latest and greatest products and services that we think you will love.

We do not, and will not, sell any of your personal data to any third party – including your name, address, email address or credit card information. We want to earn and maintain your trust, and we believe this is absolutely essential in order do that.

     » Companies in the LIFE RACER group, as sometimes different bits of our group are responsible for different activities

     » Affiliates who help us reach out to potential new customers or promote our products on their websites

How to stop marketing messages from LIFE RACER
You can control the marketing communications you receive from us through the Contact Preferences section of your LIFE RACER account. You also have the following options:

 

     » Emails: You can also click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any marketing email you receive, and this will take you to the Contact Preferences section of your account so you can unsubscribe from that method of communication.

     » Text Messages: You can also text “stop” to the number provided within the communication and this will unsubscribe you from that method of communication.

     » Any method of Marketing: You can contact our Customer Care team . Once you do this, we will update our records to ensure that you don’t receive further marketing messages.

 

 

If you tell us you don’t want to receive marketing messages it might take a few days for all our systems to be updated, so we would ask for your patience as you might get messages from us while we process your request.
Please note that opting out of marketing messages will not stop service communications, such as order updates, or where you have asked for a specific ‘back in stock’ notification.

LIFE RACER is a global business with operations inside and outside of the Switzerland and we use suppliers and fulfilment centres located across the world. Some of these locations will not offer the same level of protection for your personal data as the Switzerland, but if we transfer your information to one of these locations we will take steps to ensure that your data and rights are protected through methods approved within the relevant Data Protection laws. We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from theLIFE RACER is at your own risk. You should only access our services within a secure environment.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements).

 


When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We may change this page from time to time, to reflect how we are processing your data.
