Electric Scooter
The E-TWOW Booster S SWISS EDITION electric scooter is equipped with a motor with an output of 500 watts in the front wheel. With this motor you can reach a top speed of 20 km/h (the speed is reduced for Switzerland). For braking, it has an electric brake with energy recovery when braking at the front and a mechanical brake at the rear. To operate the front brake, pull a lever on the handlebar; the rear brake is activated by pressing the rear splash guard.
This model is also equipped with a suspension at the front and rear to absorb some of the vibrations that are not absorbed by the hard rubber wheels. A silicone seal is installed on the E-TWOW BOOSTER S Swiss Edition after it has been imported into Switzerland in order to increase the water resistance.
Please note that this electric scooter should only be used on slightly wet roads or in light rain, but under no circumstances in heavy rain or submersion.
The Samsung brand lithium-ion battery delivers 36 V 8.7 Ah, which enables a range of approx. 35 km (value tested with a 75 kg driver on a flat stretch at an outside temperature of 20 ° C). The battery is located in the footboard, under the driver’s feet.
The net weight of the E-TWOW BOOSTER S electric scooter is only 11 kg. Load weight of this electric scooter must not exceed 100 kg.
Design
The Booster model series is among the best ultra-light and ultra-foldable city scooters in the world. These scooters are made by the European manufacturer E-Twow. If you are looking for the best city scooter, there is no other product out there that would offer a better weight/power/price ratio. The Booster ES model is the successor to the Booster V model. It weighs just 11.6 kg, reaches speeds up to 30 km/h and offers a 30 km range.

Similarly to its predecessor, it features a new silicone step-on surface that can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth, reinforced folding handlebars that eliminate the problem associated with the occasional release of the safety pin and, most of all, a folding mechanism that is much easier to operate. It can be controlled by hand as well and its folding lever is secured by a magnet.

The Booster S2 offers 500 W power, which is however excellent given the model’s fly weight of 11 kg. The lower deck hides a 36 V Samsung Li-Ion battery providing 8.7 Ah capacity. This combination of power and battery offers a range of 30 km.

Many customers are afraid of scooters with solid wheels because of less comfortable ride. However, the entire Booster series uses solid tires made of a patented material. And although they will never be as soft as tires filled with air, they do spring a little and have a particularly good grip. These wheels greatly contribute to the overall comfort as they can not be pierced and, therefore, you can not get a flat tire. As a rider, you get much better confidence and enjoyment since you know that you will always arrive to your destination in time and you do not have to worry about your tire pressure or getting a flat tire. This alone is of great value as with 8-inch wheels punctures are very frequent in a city on models featuring air-filled tires. If you drive daily, these wheels can typically save you a puncture a month. Moreover, the E-Twow Booster ES model has a sprung front and rear wheel, which enhances both comfort and safety.
